Harvey Gamage crew had a long beat to Dominica (a four-day journey). While on island they'll engage in a strenuous full-day hike through the Valley of Desolation to Boiling Lake. While on island they'll visit the robust food markets, shop for local fare and help the ship's cook prepare a local island feast. This is one of Ocean Classroom's favorite locations on the semester-long journey.

Schooner Virginia had a long beat to Antigua and is currently anchored in English Harbor. They will stay for two days, exploring Nelson Dock Yard and learning about British West Indies culture.
